Hey y'all! I am Blake English, the owner and operator of SFS. I want to share a quick story of how I got started in music industry :

Raised in a family of guitar players and songwriters, I’ve been immersed in music from an early age, with roots in rock, country, and rhythm & blues. In 2000, I moved to Los Angeles and signed my first publishing deal, which kickstarted my journey into professional music production. Since then, I’ve worked as a musician, songwriter, producer, and engineer across multiple genres. Here are some of the artists I’ve had the pleasure of working with: Toni Braxton, George Benson, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Whitney Houston, and I contributed to a Grammy-nominated album by Brandy. I also spent years as a live sound engineer and I'll never forget my first professional gig. I was fortunate to get on with the audio crew (Monitors) for Billy Joel & Elton John's tour in the late 90's!

My work has also been featured in major films like Scary Movie 2, as well as Fox Sports, MTV, Ditty TV, Bravo and ads for brands like K-Swiss and AT&T, and some others I'm sure I forgot.

I hold an Associate’s Degree in Recording Engineer Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing from Full Sail University. (Orlando, FL.) As a multi-instrumentalist, I play guitar, bass, piano, drums, pedal steel, mandolin, banjo, and I sing (a little bit).
